Cattle farms in Iran produced 2 million tons of milk in the fourth quarter of last fiscal year (Dec. 21, 2020-March 20).
Iran’s cattle farms in Q4 had a total of 5.63 million head of heavy livestock, indicating a 4% increase compared with the preceding quarter, the Statistical Center of Iran reported.
A total of 536,000 calves were born in cattle farms and fattening practices were conducted on 500,000 cows and calves over the same period.
