TCCIM to Hold Trade Course, FAQ Meeting on Transport

The Education and Human Resources Institute, affiliated to Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, is scheduled to hold a comprehensive course on trade in September and a meeting where international transportation specialists will answer frequently asked questions (FAQ) in their field of expertise.

The trade course will run for a total of 60 hours. The first session is slated for Sept. 5 from 4-8 p.m. The following sessions will be held on Saturdays from 4-8 p.m. and on Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Topics to be discussed include international trade key points, harmonized system of commodity categorization, international commercial terms (incoterms), imports and exports step-by-step procedures, international transportation, customs regulation and Electronic Packing List, international trade contracts, trade negotiations, transactions and international payment systems and documents, TCCIM news portal reported.

The transportation FAQ session is due on July 26. This is the first time TCCIM will be holding such a forum where specialists will answer questions raised by businesspeople and others operating in international transportation. The meeting will be held from 4-6 p.m.
