Cows and calves have a 50% share in Iran’s red meat supply and a 90% share in milk supply, according to a recent report released by the Statistical Center of Iran.
The report shows the number of cows and calves in the Iranian month ending Jan. 20 amounted to 4.6 million while the figure stood at 4.7 million in the month ending Feb. 19.
