The government’s earning from mine royalties will remain unchanged in next year’s budget, said parliament member Iraj Nadimi. The parliament’s integration committee has recently agreed to lower the rate for mine royalties to 25 percent; however, more mines will be subject to the charge, FNA quoted Nadimi as saying, adding that the royalties will be calculated based on mineral sales prices”.
