Iran Steel Exports Decline in 8 Months

New data released by the Iranian Steel Producers Association show steel exports from Iran have declined.
A total of 4.57 million tons of semi-finished steel products were exported during the first eight months of the current fiscal year (March 21-Nov. 21), to register a 5% year-on-year fall, latest data released by the Iranian Steel Producers Association show.
Billet and bloom had the lion’s share of semis exports with an aggregate of 3.48 million tons, up 8% compared with the previous year’s corresponding period. 
Slab exports amounted to 1.08 million tons during the period, down 31%.
Exports of finished steel products decreased by 2% to 2.14 million tons during the same period.
