Iran Economic and Investment Opportunities Forum is scheduled to be held in Tehran on November 25-28 to help introduce $35 billion worth of investment opportunities in Iran’s economy to the participants, executive secretary of the event, Amir Reza Hassani, said. Major companies from China, Germany, Denmark, Finland, France, Russia, Japan, Serbia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the UAE, India and Saudi Arabia in the fields of tourism, clean energies, agriculture, oil, gas and petrochemicals, auto manufacturing and food have already expressed readiness to attend the forum, IRIB News reported. The World Free and Special Economic Zones Federation, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, the World Bank, European Investment Bank, Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce and World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies are among sponsors of IEIO 2017.
