The government has decided that 2,000 subway cars be imported to meet growing demand in the big cities. It is planning to invite international tenders for the purchase, IRNA reported. The move is in line with the declared agenda to help and expand public transport in the overcrowded urban areas and the sprawling metropolises with snarling traffic and immense air pollution.
