Iran’s five biggest iron ore plants, namely Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company, Chadormalu Mining Company, Sangan, Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Holding Company, and Iran Central Iron Ore Company, produced 24 million tons of iron ore concentrates during the 11 Iranian months ending Feb. 19, indicating a 2% increase compared with the similar period of a year before, according to Iran Mines and Mineral Industries Development and Renovation Organization. Golgohar (9.6 million tons) and Chadormalu (8.65 million tons) were the biggest producers during the period. They were followed by Sangan, MIDHCO and ICIOC in descending order, IRNA reported.
