2 Iranian Companies Sign MVNO Agreement

Iran Electronics Industries (Sairan) has signed an agreement with local Internet service provider HiWeb for establishing a mobile virtual network operator.
HiWeb is listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange and the agreement was reported through a statement published by HiWeb on the Comprehensive Database of All Listed Companies (Codal.ir). 
Goals envisioned in the agreement revolve around the establishment of a mobile virtual network and offering services through the MVNO.
As per the agreement, smart transportation services and smart transport monitoring systems will be launched and smart water and energy meters will be manufactured.
A joint venture and brand are to be established and registered by Sairan and HiWeb. Sairan will have a 70% share in the JV.
The agreement is valid for five years and is renewable.
