The Swedish Embassy in Tehran has opened a so-called trade department with the aim of enhancing bilateral economic interaction between the two countries, according to Swedish Ambassador Peter Tejler. “The trade d0epartment will be jointly run by Sweden’s public and private sectors. We are also counting on the assistance from the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture,” TCCIMA news portal quoted Tejler as saying in a meeting with the president of the chamber Masoud Khansari on Saturday. Khansari said Iran is keen on technology transfer from and joint investments with Sweden alongside increase in trade in goods and services.
