Iran's Trade With Australia Grows 13%
Iran's Trade With Australia Grows 13%

Iran traded 91,063 tons of non-oil commodities worth $161.21 million with Australia during the 11 months to Feb. 19, registering a 67.86% and 13.47% growth in tonnage and value respectively compared with last year's corresponding period, latest data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration show.
Iran’s exports to Australia stood at 13,658 tons worth $30.15 million, down 13.85% and 12.69% in tonnage and value respectively year over year. 
Australia was Iran’s 47th export destination during the period.
Iran mainly exported floorings, dates, alabaster, polystyrene and pistachios to Australia during the period.
The continental country exported 77,405 tons of goods worth $131.06 million to Iran, up 101.59% and 21.87% in tonnage and value respectively YOY. 
Australia was the 26th exporter of goods to Iran over the 11 months.
Iran’s imports mainly included sheep carcasses, coal, machinery and pod vegetables.
