The animated movie ‘Fried Fish’ will be screened at the Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale), competing with other movies in the Children’s Section.
The movie is directed by Leyla Khalilzadeh and is a production of the Documentary and Experimental Film Center, MNA reported.
The movie tells the story of a fish, which wishes to return to the sea after being fried. The fish’s wish comes true, however, it has “to close its eyes on several things and forget some aspects of its life.”
The 65th Berlinale will be held February 5-15 in Germany. The top movie of the Children’s Section will be awarded the Chrystal Bear and a cash prize of 2,500 euros.
