Knowledge-based firm Zist Abzar Pajohan, specializing in producing nanotechnology enhanced medical tools, has developed a rapid diagnostic test (RDT) kit that can be used for checking pregnancy at home and diagnosing food poisoning, infections, water contamination and drug abuse.
“The kits provide results using simple procedures in less than 10 minutes,” Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council quoted the company’s CEO, Keyvan Dabir as saying.
Currently, the company has the capacity to produce 20,000 kits everyday and is planning to double the number within six months.
