Iranian karatekas have exhibited great performance at the 2017 World League Games in Istanbul winning three gold medals.
The gold medalists include Fatemeh Chalaki (-55 kg), Hamoun Derafshipour (-67 kg) and Bahman Asgari (-75 kg).
A total of 1,262 karatekas from 85 countries are participating in the competitions in Istanbul, IRNA reported.
Another Iranian athlete Ali Fadakar took bronze in the -85 kg category. Two other Iranian champions Mehdi Ghararizadeh and Saleh Abazari are to attend Tatami to fight for gold.
