More than 3,500 megawatts of electricity was traded at the Iran Energy Exchange (IEX) on Monday, the Ministry of Energy’s news agency reported. The minimum price per megawatt recorded at the IEX was 289,989 rials, while the highest price recorded was 402,989 rials. The IEX registered an overall electricity trade value of more than 33.5 billion rials. Twenty private power plants as well as 39 electricity distribution companies have been already listed on the IEX, trading every day between 10 a.m. and midday.
