The first edition of an international festival featuring diverse cultural and artistic programs for children is to be held on Kish Island later this month.
The motto of the festival, slated for Nowruz (new Persian year) holidays, is “happy and safe growth is the right of all children across the world,” public relations and international affairs department of Kish Free Zone Organization announced.
The event will include attractive programs such as Persian story carnival, international carnival, street theatre, kite and balloon running contest, as well as screening top Iranian and international films, and giant puppet shows.
Chocolate city, castle of food stuff, toy land, music festival and health tunnel are other sections of the international festival.
The festival will kick off on Thursday (March 19) and will be underway until March 26. Foreign ambassadors, representatives from international organizations including UNESCO, along with a number of Iranian officials are to take part in the opening ceremony of the event.
