London copper eased on Tuesday as the market took a breather following last session’s gains amid caution ahead of the upcoming US Federal Reserve meeting, Reuters reported. Three-month copper on the London Metal Exchange was down 0.5% at $4,534.50 a ton. The most-traded copper contract on the Shanghai Futures Exchange closed 0.5% lower at 35,110 yuan a ton. “I think traders and investors are taking profit after yesterday’s gains because the fundamental picture is still not very good,” said Chunlan Li, an analyst with CRU in Beijing.
