Liverpool has agreed to a fee with Roma to sign goalkeeper Alisson Becker. The Reds officially made their first bid for the Brazilian on Tuesday. And manager Jurgen Klopp looks set to get his man.

The Daily Star claimed a $87m deal between Liverpool and Roma has been agreed. Permission has been granted to speak to the player.

As for Liverpool, Loris Karius is now expected to leave the club, Express reported.

Liverpool is making the most of their “well-established relationship” with Roma in order to sign Alisson, reports claim.

The Reds want to make the Brazil international their new first-choice goalkeeper for the upcoming campaign.

Liverpool and Roma have previously done business for John Arne Riise and Alberto Aquilani. Liverpool’s progress towards a deal has come as a blow to fellow suitors Chelsea and Real Madrid.
