Iranian Young Taekwondokas Bag More Medals in Tunisia

Iranian men and women junior athletes have bagged a total of seven gold, silver and bronze medals at the event, and cemented places for Argentina Youth Olympics in October

Iranian junior taekwondokas clinched four more medals including three gold and one silver at the 2018 World Taekwondo Junior Championships in Hammamet, Tunisia, April 6-13.
Amirsina Bakhtiyari won gold in the junior men’s -55kg after he managed to defeat his Argentine opponent Jose Luis Acuna in the final clash, according to Worldtaekwondo.org.
Amir Valipour also dominated the match against the Azeri Khanoghlan Karimov in the final contest of the men’s -51kg class to clinch another gold for Iran.
Earlier in the tournament, Iranian taekwondo fighter Hossein Lotfi received the gold medal in -45kg class.
