Iran’s top referee Alireza Faghani will judge a match in the AFC Champions League between Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors of South Korea and the winner of East Asia play-off games on February 13, the venue is not clear yet.

According to Varzesh3, Faghani as the center referee, as well as Reza Sokhandan and Mohammad Reza Mansouri as his assistants will officiate the game.

Faghani, 39, has been officiating the Persian Gulf Pro League for seven seasons and is on the international list since 2008.

Faghani has refereed important matches such as the 2014 AFC Champions League Final, 2015 AFC Asian Cup Final, 2015 FIFA Club World Cup Final, and the 2016 Olympic football final match.

The 2018 AFC Champions League games will start on January 16 and the final game is set for November 10. Persepolis, Tractor Sazi and Esteghlal were direct entrants from Iran, but Zob Ahan entered the qualifying play-off to take its chance for attending the games.
