Iran won the title of the International Blind Judo Tournament in Turkey on Saturday, December 16.

The Iranian judo fighters won two gold, two silver and two bronze medals in the competition, Tasnim News Agency reported.

Hossein Darabi in 100kg and Mohammadreza Kheirollahzadeh in +105kg won the gold medals.

Sajjad Khodadadi in 66kg and Sajjad Hajebi in 90kg seized two silver medals while Meysam Banitaba in 60kg and Ali Abbasnejad in 83kg claimed the bronze medals.

The competition brought a total of 47 judo fighters from nine countries together.

Mohesn Jafari, secretary general of Iran Sports Federation for the Blind and Visually Impaired, said the Iranian team will remain in Turkey until Wednesday to hold a training camp.
