Iran Woman Point Fighter Wins Gold in AIMAG

Iran athlete Shahnaz Mirheydari claimed a gold medal for the Iranian team in the Women’s Point Fighting -55kg of the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (AIMAG), Tasnim News Agency reported.
The 2017 AIMAG kicked off in the Turkmen capital last Saturday. More than 6,000 athletes and team officials are representing 65 countries in the games.
Iran’s squad, including 214 athletes (115 men and 66 women) is participating in 20 fields namely, futsal, table tennis, kickboxing, Muay Thai, Sambo, Kurash, Jujutsu, bowling, billiards, cycling, track-and-field, swimming, weightlifting, freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, Pahlavani wrestling, Alysh, basketball, taekwondo, horse-riding and chess.
