The 15-day deadline set by the Central Bank of Iran for commercial banks to provide it with a list of companies they own expired on Friday. Almost all commercial banks missed the deadline, ISNA reported. The CBI had also called on the bank to reduce their shares in their subsidiary companies. Experts believe that commercial banks have not taken the warning seriously, and that the central bank may need to adopt a punishment policy to make them follow the rules.
