A deputy of the minister of education said there “were no errors in the results of this year’s university entrance exam,” ISNA reported. Dr. Mohammad Hossein Omid, however, said there were a few changes in the grading system including credit given to the students’ school records.

In recent days, the ministry of science had received complaints from several university applicants who claimed there had been errors in the results of the exam. Omid also said the ministry is facing a $15million budget deficit. The huge deficit is hindering many projects that are underway in universities, he said.
