Iranian Startup Shortlisted for Regional Seedstars Competition

Local startup Paklean Online Laundry has been shortlisted to represent Iran in the regional stage of Seedstars World 2020 competition.
Seedstars is a Swiss-based group of companies aiming to impact people's lives through technology and entrepreneurship in emerging markets. Their operation spans more than 90 countries with 12 co-working hubs around the globe. 
Each year, Seedstars looks for the most promising early-stage startups from more than 90 countries. These startups will then receive inclusive training on how to be investment-ready. The “Seedstars World” has three stages of local, regional and global competitions.
Seedstars picks the top startup from each country in the Local Stage. This startup would represent the country Regional Stage. This year, Seedstars has selected Paklean Online Laundry as the local winner of Iran. The winners of the regional competition will be announced by mid-December.
Paklean is an on-demand door-to-door online laundry and dry-cleaning service based in Tehran that makes customers one tap away from washing, pressing, spot cleaning, sewing and coloring their clothes.
The Iranian startup will compete against 17 other startups on the MENA regional stage. Finalists will be selected based on their startup strength and scalability, and will move on to the Grand Finale. 
The winners of all five regional stages will then receive in-depth entrepreneurial training and have the opportunity to compete for the title of Global Winner and a prize of up to $500,000 in equity investment. The final winner will be announced by the end of April.
