Law enforcement forces in Gilan-e-Gharb County in Kermanshah Province apprehended two locals suspected of setting fire to around 200 hectares of forests in Cheleh village. The suspects, who had illegally built coal furnaces in their homes, set fire to the woods to produce charcoal, Mizan News Agency reported. According to police chief, Colonel Salim Salimi, large amounts of charcoal and tree trunks were discovered at the homes of the suspects.
