Three subway stations in Tehran began operating on a 24-hour basis starting from Wednesday night. Darvazeh Dolat, Shahr-e-Aftab and Imam Khomeini International Airport are the three stations of Tehran Metro that now operate 24/7 to facilitate access to the airport, 30 km south of Tehran, YJC reported. Located on Line 1, Darvazeh Dolat Station was selected due to its location in the center of Tehran and accessibility. Shahr-e-Aftab and IKIA stations are on Line 8, the second phase of which opened earlier this week.
