Norway’s Minister of Education and Research, Torbjorn Roe Isaksen, in a meeting with Iranian Ambassador Mohammad Hassan Habibollah Zadeh on Thursday, conveyed readiness to expand scientific and academic cooperation with Tehran.
At the meeting, Habibollah Zadeh noted the good economic cooperation between the two sides. Iran is ready to develop educational and research cooperation with Norway, he said, Mehr News Agency reported.
He highlighted the good scientific record of Iranian students in Norway, and called for teacher/student transfer programs, as well as having courses on Persian language and Iranian studies and at universities in Norway.
Isaksen expressed satisfaction with the expansion of cooperation between the two countries, and stressed readiness to facilitate scientific cooperation with Iran.
