Expansion of Youth Houses

More Youth Houses will be inaugurated during the National Youth Week (May 28-June 3). The occasion presents a chance for activities across the country directed at the young population, and also sparks a nationwide movement to address issues concerning the youth. “The activities include exhibitions and competitions, conferences, meetings of non-governmental organizations focused on youth affairs, and awareness-raising campaigns,” said Asadollah Ejraei, deputy head of the provincial department of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs in Hamedan Province. Talented young people will be introduced and honored during a ceremony in each province, YJC reported. Increasing the number of Youth Houses and related NGOs are part of the ministry’s drive to help increase social harmony among the youth and create mutual understanding between the youth and government. They provide various services to help teenagers and young adults choose a career in life, engage in positive hobbies, and stay away from harmful and violent behavior.
