New Hospital in Alborz

The 200-bed Imam Hussein hospital will open in Mohammadshahr city in Alborz Province by the end of May, said Behzad Kalantari, deputy of treatment at Alborz University of Medical Sciences. Construction of a 160-bed hospital in Fardis city has also started recently and the project will be completed within two years, he said, IRNA reported. “During the past two years, 1,400 hospital beds have been provided to newly constructed or existing hospitals in the province, increasing the number of the beds from 800 to 2,200,” he added.
