Four new subway stations will open in late April as part of the first phase of the inauguration of Metro Line 7, said Maziar Hosseini, traffic deputy of Tehran Municipality (TM). “The four stations connect Mohammadiyeh Square in District 12 to Sana’t Square in District 2,” ISNA quoted him as saying. Line 7 currently under construction, will connect the southeastern part of Tehran to the northwestern districts of the capital, and 14 metro trains will run on the line. Once completed, it will have a total of 34 subway stations.
