A premarital education application for smartphones will be released in early April by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs. “This application will have information on reproductive health and life skills,” said deputy minister Mohammadreza Rostami, Mehr News Agency reported. Noting that educating the youth on such sensitive issues is important, he said the ministry is taking advantage of every available option to ensure that marriages last and to reduce the high rate of divorce in the country. “Just like the mandatory premarital courses for young couples wanting to marry, these online applications will offer 16 hours of training and education, and in a convenient manner,” Rostami noted.
