A national Congress on Youth Affairs Management will be held January 21 by the Ministry of Sports and Youths Affairs at Tehran’s Olympics Hotel in the presence of First Vice President Es’haq Jahangiri. “The congress aims to create a platform for cooperation and coordination among all pertinent state bodies to enhance their capacities in managing youth affairs in the country,” said deputy minister and head of the event Mohammadreza Rostami. The event will focus on 10 key areas including social inclusion and participation, culture, art and tourism, empowering and promoting the youth, skills development, jobs, policy making and planning, cyber space and media, health and wellbeing, sports, and leisure time, Borna News Agency reported. The specialized and technical confab will be attended by representatives from ministries, institutions, and non-governmental organizations concerned with matters pertaining to the young generation.
