Exhibition of Rural, Nomadic Products

Iran’s rural and nomadic people are showcasing their immense potential at the Second Exhibition of Rural and Nomadic Capacities at Tehran’s Permanent Fairground in northern part of the capital. All provinces are represented at the fair through handicrafts, agricultural products and Persian cuisine, among others, IRNA reported. Themed ‘Village: Center of Production and Value in the Resistance Economy’, the venue is decorated with festive ornaments and traditional knick-knacks to attract visitors. The exhibition aims to showcase the domestic capacities and support local production, help boost self-sufficiency through rural production, and highlight the important role of producers in the welfare and development of the nation. It is open to the public everyday from 10am to 5pm and concludes on Sunday, January 8.
