The 2nd International Specialized Exhibition on Rehabilitation and Related Industries and Equipment for the Disabled, opened on December 6 in Tehran in association with the State Welfare Organization and the Mostazafan Foundation (for the oppressed and disabled).
The exhibition showcases rehabilitation equipment and services offered to people with disabilities and presents a platform for networking among industrialists to help them in the production of equipment locally.
The event also aims to raise awareness among people with disabilities and their families about the available local and imported rehabilitation services and equipment. It creates an opportunity for better interaction among the physically challenged, local and foreign manufacturers, physicians, experts and others active in the field.
Free workshops, seminars, classes, counseling services will be offered on the sidelines of the exhibition which runs until December 9, ISNA reported.
