MATI Regional Meeting

The MATI regional meeting (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Iran) opened on Monday, November 7, at the Pasteur Institute of Iran in Tehran. “The meeting provides a unique opportunity for researchers from the four countries and also the visiting researchers from China and France, to share scientific experiences and to explore new areas of cooperation specific to the region in the areas of health,” said Dr Mostafa Qanei, head of the Pasteur Institute, on the sidelines of the event, IRNA reported. The event concludes on November 9.  In November 2014, the MATI regional meeting was organized in Casablanca by the Institut Pasteur in Morocco.

IPI was founded in the 1920s to pave the way for advanced research and to provide innovative programs in basic and applied medical sciences, and production of biopharmaceuticals, vaccines, and diagnostic kits with special emphasis on infectious diseases.
