Iranian, Russian Varsities Sign 30 MoUs

At the 2nd meet of Iranian and Russian University Chancellors held Thursday at Tehran University’s Negarestan Garden, the two sides signed 30 memorandums of understanding to expand scientific and educational cooperation including student and teacher exchange programs, holding joint courses and conducting joint research. The meeting was attended by 23 Russian delegations and 20 chancellors as well as Iran’s Minister of Science and Technology Mohammad Farhadi. The first meet between chancellors from both sides was held at Central Library in Lomonosov Moscow State University in October 2015. The next meeting will be once again hosted by Russia, Mehr News Agency reported.
