A website has been launched to help familiarize people with the importance of organ donation, said the head of acquisition unit of organs and tissues for transplantat at Masih Daneshvari Hospital in Tehran.
“The website Ehda.ir helps promote organ donation among the public, so that more patients in need of transplantation can continue their life with a new healthy organ, ISNA quoted Farahnaz Sadeq-Beigi as saying.
Initiating the campaign ‘1=8’ in cyber space with the help of artists, the hospital, affiliated to the Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and Health Services, seeks to inform people that everyone can save up to seven people’s lives through organ donation.
