Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Monday donated three billion rials ($86,000) to a campaign which is held every year in the fasting month of Ramadan to help free needy prisoners. The inmates are held for failing to honor checks, meet financial commitments or pay compensation to the victim or heirs of a victim in the cases related of manslaughter, bodily harm or property damage.
