Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei issued a decree on Wednesday accepting the resignation of the director of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, Mohammad Sarafraz, and appointing Abdolali Ali Asgari as his successor.
Addressing Ali Asgari, Ayatollah Khamenei said, "In view of the resignation of Mr. Mohammad Sarafraz and while thanking him for his wholehearted revolutionary and value-based efforts, which must never be forgotten, I appoint you, who enjoy revolutionary background and managerial experiences in the national broadcaster, as the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting," according to a transcript of the decree posted on the official website of the Leader.
"I emphatically recommend you to pay attention to planning, observe large-scale strategies, attract, retain and train revolutionary and efficient forces, have an effective presence in cyberspace and put your trust and confidence in Almighty God," the decree added.
