Zarif-Kerry Meeting

US Secretary of State John Kerry and Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif met on Friday to discuss implementation of the July 14 nuclear agreement between Iran and major powers, the US State Department said in a statement.
Kerry and Zarif met in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, the statement said.
In an interview with ISNA on Saturday, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Marzieh Afkham denied news reports that the top diplomats also discussed the Syria crisis.
