The French oil and gas giant Total, as the main contractor for the development of South Pars Phase 11, has held tenders worth $860 million since last summer, the director of Pars Oil and Gas Company said. "The winners, most of which are Iranian contractors, will be announced in the near future," Mohammad Meshkinfam was also quoted as saying by Shana on Tuesday.  According to the official, the construction of jackets, topsides, subsea pipelines and the platforms were put out to tender.
