Iran's RIPI Implementing Oil Research Projects

The Research Institute of Petroleum Industry is implementing several projects in the fields of oil exploration, drilling, extraction, catalyst production and energy saving, the head of RIPI said.
“RIPI programs are to help develop the oil and gas industry,” Jafar Tofiqi said, adding that in the exploration field, several oil and gas projects are underway in areas that have not yet been explored or having a bigger capacity, such as the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, ISNA reported.
Regarding conventional oil and gas resources, the official said the institute is currently cooperating with the Exploration Department of the National Iranian Oil Company.
