Since the beginning of the current Iranian year (ends March 20), Iran has exported 12 million tons of petrochemicals, worth $9 billion, Mehr news agency quoted deputy oil minister as reporting on Tuesday. "Italy, Switzerland and several other European countries have been among the main buyers of our petrochemicals, including various polymer products," added Abbas Shari-Moqaddam, who is also the managing director of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC).
