The second Iran iOS Developers Conference will be held in Tehran on Thursday.

It will include workshops and speeches by professionals, according to Evand.com, a local website that lists workshops and educational courses.

The one-day conference has been organized by a group of local iOS programmers.

Developers of trendy Iranian applications and games will address the meeting and take questions from participants.

Hamid Baraqani, developer of Tap30, one of the popular ride-hailing apps in the country, Behrouz Payon, developer of SnappFood, a major food delivery service and Amirhossein Nateghi, founder of Quiz of Kings one of the top domestic mobile games, will be among the speakers.

Those interested can enroll via the conference’s official website, appleconf.com.

The event is expected to pave the way for cooperation between newcomers and professional developers in Iran.

However, developing iOS apps in the country seems to be in limbo these days. In an unscrupulous move on August 19, Apple Inc. started removing several Iranian businesses from its App Store.
