Iran will attend the Telecom World 2017 in Busan, South Korea from September 25 to 28.
The event is organized by the International Telecommunication Union, a UN agency responsible for ICT-related issues. The team will be headed by Mona Ershadifar. She has said that ministers, lawmakers, and high-ranking authorities in the ICT sector along with state and private firms will attend, CITNA reported.
“Iran’s Telecommunication Infrastructure Company, Telecommunication Company of Iran, Faculty of Applied Science of Post and Telecommunication and Ava Communication Industries Company will participate,” she added.
During the Telecom World 2016 held in Bangkok, an Iranian firm Arianna Gostar Espadana and a Korean company Cobaltry signed a memorandum of understanding to boost e-commerce in Iran.
TIC was commended by organizers as one of the firms with the best pavilions at the previous round.
ITU Telecom World is a global platform for accelerating ICT innovations. It aims to deliver economic development and social goods faster through its exhibition for digital solutions, forums for sharing knowledge and networking hubs connecting nations, organizations, and individuals.
The annual ICT event is organized by ITU Telecom, part of the International Telecommunications Union, the UN agency responsible for ICT-related issues.
