More than 209,650 tons of banana worth over $200 million were imported into Iran during the first five months of the current fiscal year (March 21-Aug. 22).
This shows a 28.49% and 11.41% decline in weight and value respectively compared with the similar period of last year, latest figures released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration show.
