More than 650,500 tons of barley worth close to 3.82 billion ($117.21 million) were imported into Iran during the five months to Aug. 22, based on figures released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration.
Germany, Spain, the UAE, the UK, Singapore, Switzerland, the Russian Federation, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, Cyprus, Kazakhstan, the US, Australia and Romania were among the main exporters of the grain to Iran over the period, Young Journalists Club reported.
