Close to 6,340 tons of different kinds of soap worth nearly 197 billion rials ($6 million) were exported from Iran during the five months to Aug. 22, data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration showed.
The main customer of Iranian soap over the period was Afghanistan with over $4 million worth of purchases. It was followed by Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, the UAE, Bahrain, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Iraq, Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Kuwait and Georgia, Mizan Online reported.
