Over $14m Invested in Nowshahr Port Since 2013

Close to 540 billion rials ($14.3 million) worth of investments have been made in Nowshahr Port in the northern province of Mazandaran since President Hassan Rouhani took office in August 2013, the head of Mazandaran Ports and Maritime Organization said.

“Nearly 380 billion rials ($10 million) of the total sum have been invested by the government and the private sector accounts for the rest. The investments went into the construction of roofed and unroofed warehouses as well as control and monitoring towers,” Siavash Rezvani was also quoted as saying by IRNA.
